Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This website, coyotejackson.com, with my writing, meditations, videos and the Guide, is built with respect for your privacy and your journey. Here's how it works and what happens with your information.

What the Guide does

When you ask the Guide a question, your words are sent to a secure server that helps find the articles, videos, and teachings most relevant to what you're going through. This is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI through an encrypted connection.

What we collect

When you ask the Guide a question, your question and the response are logged on our server for the purpose of improving the Guide's recommendations, together with the time and the country your request came from. These logs contain no identifying information — no name, no device ID, no IP address tied to the content. Whatever you type is kept as you wrote it, so please leave out your name or other personal details. Guide questions are kept to keep improving the Guide.

We don't create accounts, and we don't track you across other websites.

Your reading settings, colours and favourites are saved in your browser only and never leave your device. Your conversation with the Guide is kept in your browser tab, and is cleared when you close it.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data, or share it with anyone beyond the services named below that run the site
  • We don't use advertising or social media trackers on this site
  • We don't show ads
  • The site doesn't ask for your name, email, or any personal identifiers

AI-powered Guide and third-party data sharing

The Guide feature uses artificial intelligence to recommend content based on your questions. Here's exactly what happens when you ask a question:

  • What is sent: The text of your questions in this conversation, the Guide's earlier answers to them, and which piece you were reading when you asked — nothing else. No name, email, device identifier, or any other personal information is included.
  • Where it goes: Your questions are sent through our secure Cloudflare server to Anthropic's Claude AI, which analyzes them to find relevant teachings, articles, and videos.
  • Logging: Your question and the AI's response are logged on our server, with the time and your country, to help improve the quality of recommendations. These logs contain no name, email or IP address.
  • Your choice: Nothing is sent until you ask a question. You can read, listen and watch everything on the site without using the Guide.

Anthropic handles data according to their own privacy policy (anthropic.com/privacy). We encourage you to review it.

Signing up for emails

The sign-up form on this site is provided by Simplero, the service that runs my email list. When you sign up, your name and email go to my list there, and you can unsubscribe from any email I send.

To run the form, Simplero's code on this site lets Simplero know each time the form is seen, and keeps a few small cookies in your browser:

  • how many times you've seen the form, and when (kept for 90 days)
  • that you've signed up, so the form thanks you instead of asking again (90 days)
  • which website or campaign link brought you here, if any, so sign-ups can be credited to where they came from (1 to 7 days)

If you arrive here from one of my emails, Simplero may connect your visit to your subscription and note the pages you view on this site.

Simplero keeps these records until they're deleted, stores them with Amazon Web Services, and lists the other companies it works with at simplero.com/subprocessors. To see what's held about you, or to have it deleted, ask me, or Simplero at support@simplero.com. Simplero's own privacy policy is at simplero.com/privacy-policy.

Other third-party services

The site also relies on these services:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website and the Guide. Like any web host, it receives your IP address and browser details in order to deliver pages to you, and keeps records of those requests.
  • Simplero, which hosts my audio and video recordings and handles booking calls, purchases and my email list. When you play a recording, book a call, buy a session or sign up for emails, that part runs on Simplero.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data that passes through their systems.

When you contact me or work with me

If you email me, book a call or buy a session, I receive the details you give me, like your name and email, and use them only to reply to you and to work with you. Everything shared in our sessions is confidential, as set out in the Terms and conditions.

The message form on this site sends your name, email address and message to me as an email, which I keep in my email (hosted by Google Workspace). Before it sends, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is writing, not a program. To do that it looks at signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type; Cloudflare says it uses them only to detect bots, not to identify you.

Your device, your space

Almost everything the site remembers — your settings, colours, favourites — lives in your browser. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.

The only visitor data stored on our own server is the Guide's question log (if you used the Guide). To protect the Guide from misuse, your IP address may be held for up to two days to count how many questions are asked; it is never stored with your questions.
