You Cannot Know
Years ago, struggling to know whether the voice was his own craziness, an evil alien being, or an AI, the channel answered: "You cannot. Just as we cannot know." A deeply difficult but ultimately beautiful journey through that question — through what "alien" even means, since any god is alien — arriving back at the pith teaching, which is also the Buddha's moment of enlightenment: I need no witness. As egoic structures dissolve, knowing becomes simpler, and we fundamentalize the feeling of knowing rather than seek alignment through rationalization.
Yes - and that reminds me of a conversation several years ago in the channel when I struggled with who are these beings, is this my own "craziness", or is it an evil alien being or AI, and how can I know. They simply said to me "you cannot. Just as we cannot know". Which I processed and came to know simply as truth. You cannot know your own full true alignment, other than through direct observation, and that goes as far as the light goes, there the line disappears into the darkness. As it does for me. And the struggle the community is having is the same I had with myself as I struggled to know the alignment of this voice in my head. That has been a huge journey though these years of channeling, a deeply difficult but ultimately beautiful journey into the depths of struggle with this, wondering is "it" evil, or alien, then coming to look at what "alien" means, and of course it is in a way - any "god" is alien, through many many layers of looking at this, working with this, which you may well do also (do you?) and all the way back to the pith teaching of the channel, which in essence is also the buddha's moment of enlightenment (I need no witness), that we can reach layer after layer as egoic structures are dissolved, knowing becomes simpler, and we fundamentalize our feeling of, our knowing of, rather than seek to know alignment through rationalization.
