Play Meditation
Rest. Recharge.
A guided audio meditation for the exhausted, burned out, in pain, or overstimulated. It works by reducing input — the constant stream we keep pushing into ourselves — and relaxing into the natural inhalation and exhalation of life to find a deep, energizing rest that genuinely recharges.

[0:00] Good morning. Let's practice.
[0:42] Taking our seat on our cushion, chair, earth, wherever we are. Just gentleness. Simplicity. Humility. And daring. To simply be ourselves. Just as we are.
[1:58] Just as all of us is. All the parts including. The stressed and tired. Judging parts. As well as the open, loving, kind parts. Being with ourselves just as we are. Breathing.
[3:26] And as the various world situations continue, there's a lot of stress and fear and worry. And it takes a toll. So here connecting. To our inner energy source. And allowing ourselves to rest. To recharge.
[4:58] We tend to choose more and more input.
[5:19] New stories. Other ways to input and distract. And try and calm ourselves. Here instead, choosing to cease the input. And relax.
[6:23] Natural cycle. Inhalation. Exhalation. Being and doing. Resting and recharging.
[7:18] Choosing to honor our body, our life. And choosing this natural cycle of inhalation, exhalation. Over the frenzy of constant input.
[8:25] Remember to relax. Rest with the breath, breathing out. And resting and recharging.
[10:42] Really turning our kindness and friendliness towards ourselves. What do we need?
[11:16] Taking care of this body. Of the nervous system. Of our energy. Keeping ourselves grounded. Healthy. Thriving. So we can be of service to others. By beginning. By being friendly to ourselves, what do we need? Breathing. To recharge. To rest. To assimilate. To integrate. To digest.
[13:34] Without pouring more and more and more in. Take lesson.
[14:23] Creating space. For us. And loved ones. Breathing. Digesting. Recharging.
[16:05] Everything we need is already here, right around us.
[17:00] As we rest and recharge, we can appreciate all that we need around us. A blanket. Water. Some good food. A little resting spot.
