[0:01] Let's practice. Taking our seat. On our seat, wherever we are. Just as we are. Arranging our body. Our legs. Our hips and an upright, uplifted, spacious spine. Sense of open chest. Open to the world. Open to ourselves. Just as everything is. Our head with our chin a little bit tucked. Tongue resting.

[1:29] Arranging our body in this restful but awake and alert posture. Allowing our body to come to rest and then our breath. Begin to be with the experience of breathing. As it unfolds. Through this. Moment of now. Allowing our creations of before and later to release and fall away. Coming more into this present moment. Using the breath as this gateway.

[3:30] Breathing out. And mixing with space.

[4:16] With our sense perceptions open wide, we don't have to attach to what's going on, but being aware, including everything in the practice.

[5:12] And bringing this sense of, this willingness to practice, no matter what is going on, despite the circumstances. Inviting this discipline, sitting and practicing.

[6:02] And as thoughts arise, no problem. Gently noticing. All right. That's thinking. And simply coming back. Back to the breath, the breathing out, and mixing with space. That is the warrior spirit. There's no particular need to beat ourselves up. That's the more, that's the victim bully mentality. Which is just another thought.

[7:43] So we sit tall. And stay.

[8:37] We may encounter big storms of thought, big emotions, powerful. I wash over. Practice is the same. Returning to this warrior spirit, this invitation to discipline. And just stay sitting in the middle of a storm. And eventually the storm passes. Yes.

[10:17] And where this practice tends to lead as we practice staying is the ability to be who we are, who we want to be.

[11:02] As our intention, even in the face of challenging circumstances, we can stay. And be with everything included, just as it is. Coming back to the breath, breathing out and mixing with space.

[12:35] Developing this quality of warriorship which includes directly engaging with the world just as it is and also equanimity. Sitting in a storm. With a tall back. Open chest.

[13:37] And a love for the world, just as it is.

[16:08] Each time, just returning, cultivating this willingness to stay. And to come back.

[17:26] Each time we get distracted, that's a perfect opportunity to practice.

[18:11] And each time we practice, strengthen just a little bit this warrior spirit. And develop our equanimity. And develop our capacity to be who we are, despite whatever circumstances are going on.

[20:13] Thank you everybody for practicing.
