The Three Kayas and Manifestation
Light slows from the Dharmakaya, pure and without quality, into the Sambhogakaya, where it takes on quality but not yet form, and into the Nirmanakaya, where line-kat-vi separates what we are from what we are becoming. Pure lands hold that separation without fear; human realms see it through fear archetypes, which is why becoming feels threatening.
Confluence and the Kayas
At the confluence layer, we must link to another aspect of ourselves in order to expand. We inculcate another seed of loving-kindness.
Confluence means taking light into slowness enough that it can take on a quality but not a form yet.
Light slows from pure speed. It takes on quality—angel-ness, warrior-ness, and so on. But not yet form—not yet boundaried, separated, physical.
The Three Kayas
Dharmakaya: Pure light, unslowed, no quality, no form. This is the absolute dimension—empty, luminous, without characteristics. It is not a thing; it is the ground from which all things arise.
Sambhogakaya: Light slowed enough to have quality, to be witnessed as dream form, light form. The angel can be seen in dream world—not yet physical realm. This is the confluence level: archetypal but not manifest. It is the dimension of energy, of visions, of the subtle body.
Nirmanakaya: Physical realm, full form. Requires line-kat-vi to create separation between what we are and what we are becoming. This is the dimension of manifestation, of bodies, of the material world.
The What-We-Are-Becoming
In the physical realm (nirmanakaya), we need line-kat-vi to create separation between what we are and what we are becoming. The what-we-are-becoming introduces:
- Distance
- Time
- Relativity
- Interdependence
This separation is necessary for manifestation, for the journey, for transformation to occur in form.
Human and Inhuman Realms
Inhuman realms (pure lands, buddha fields, other forms of conscious existence): Take on line-kat-vi as what-we-are-becoming WITHOUT FEAR. The separation serves its function cleanly—differentiation without terror.
Human realms: We see this through the lens of fear archetypes. The necessary separation (line-kat-vi) becomes contaminated with fear. What-we-are-becoming appears threatening. The distance, time, relativity feel like loss, danger, insufficiency. The very mechanism of becoming is experienced as frightening.
This explains why transformation is so difficult in human realms—not because line-kat-vi itself is the problem, but because we experience line-kat-vi through fear. The separation necessary for becoming is perceived through fear archetypes, making becoming itself feel threatening.

The Two ForcesForm requires line-kat-vi — the separation between what we are and what we are becoming. Let's go into that force, and why fear makes it so hard to bear.
Source and ConfluenceLight slowed enough to take on quality but not yet form — that is the confluence. Let's go into it: the archetypal rays, and the 'I' that coheres where they meet.
