What Do You Want?
A key entry-point to my teachings, this question - "What Do You Want" is primary. This path is from my ebook Playful Path to Conscious Confidence. The practices are woven in along the way so you can take the medicine, not just read about it — find a quiet place and a big sheet of paper, and let's start with the question.
What Do You Want?
You've spread the whole landscape of your wants out on paper. Now let's bring it into focus — because without clarity we just keep recreating yesterday, and with it, everything can change.
Developing Clarity
Now you have a list of the feelings your heart is aching for — maybe a long one. Before you choose, let's look at how you've been searching: hacking through the jungle for a treasure that was never out there.
Discover-Choose Your Future
Discovering is half of it. Now choose — one, two or three, no more. Saying yes to these means saying no to everything else for now, and that is exactly the practice.
Discover-Choose Exercise
Once you've chosen, the real question is how much you care. Not share-a-meme care — stand-in-front-of-the-tank care. A choice isn't a choice until it's met with committed action, and this is where you find out what you're really committed to.
Care How You Feel
Caring how you feel lives in your body, not just your head. Drop in and listen — your body is telling you a story right now — and care enough about what it says to act on it.
Care How You Feel
Here's the reversal that makes it permanent. We think we have to HAVE the thing before we can DO and finally BE — and so we mortgage our whole present into the future. Let's turn it the right way round: be it now.
Be, Do, Have
Beautiful — now how do you actually do it, moment by moment? Three steps, all inside your mind, as practical as mowing the lawn: notice, become willing, place your attention on what you want. Let's learn the loop.
The Reality Creation Loop
Take the third step into a full sit. From appreciation for the abundance already here, reach toward the version of you living your dream — and then let it reach back. This is placing your attention on what you want, made into a meditation.
4 Phase Meditation for Creating Our Reality
You've walked the whole sequence. Want to see what it can do in a real life? Let's go into thirteen transformations — shame, grief, addiction, a body, debt, death — that these practices, paired with other modalities, helped carry me through.
